2-3 yr. Tap/Ballet/Tumbling
This is a 45 min. class that introduces the fun of dance to the student. The class consists of 15 min. of tap, 15 min. of ballet and 15 min. of tumbling. The main goal is for the student to love movement. We use several props and themes to keep these "little ballerinas"engaged in dancing.
3-4 yr. Tap/Ballet/Tumbling
This is a 55 min. class that continues to introduce the fun of dance to the student. The class consists of 20 min. of tap, 20 min. of ballet and 15 min. of tumbling. The main goal is still for the student to love movement but now the element of self expression and free dance are added to the program. We also use a set curriculum beginning with this age group called Leap n' Learn that has a different goal for each month of class.
4-5 yr. Tap/Ballet/Tumbling
This is an hour long class that is the next step in the learning process. With the child now having a bit of a longer attention span the class consists of 25 min. of tap, 25 min. of ballet and 10 min. of tumbling. This class builds upon the 3-4 yr. program and also includes the element of self expression and free dance.This is the 2nd year of the Leap n' Learn curriculum and the goal for each month is the same as the 3-4 yr. program but the concept they are studying is now expanded even further giving them more movement to have fun in dance.
3-5 yr. Jazzerinas
our 3-5 yr age group this is a class that includes jazz and ballet technique
for the younger age. This is a high energy fun class!
5-6 yr. Tap/Ballet/Jazz
6-8 yr. Tap/Ballet/Jazz
This is an hour and thirty minute class that consists of 30 min. each of tap, ballet and jazz. This is the first year of jazz for the students and that brings a whole new level of excitement to dance class. In ballet dancing at the barre is introduced and for tap counting and finding rhythm are main goals. This is the 3rd year of the Leap n' Learn curriculum expanded for a 5-6 yr. old student. The 6-8 yr. old section of this class focuses on everything in the 5-6 yr. old class plus memory retention which builds self confidence, strength and further technical skills.
This class is offered to ages 7 through adult and are 1 hr. to 1 hr. and 15 minutes in length. Ballet is the basis of all other dance forms. It teaches students grace as well as being a great work out!!! This class is strongly recommended for students in this age group. Our classes are based on classical ballet technique but also have times for self expression and creativity.
This class is offered to ages 7-18 yrs. and is 45 min. in length. Our classes are rhythm tap and lots of fun for those who want to use their feet to make music.
This class is offered to ages 7-18 yrs. and is 1 hr. and 15 minutes in length. This is our most popular class!!! In jazz students develop turning, leaping and center combination skills. In contemporary a mixture of jazz, ballet and modern come together to make the most free form of all of the dance styles.
This class is offered to ages 5-adult. and is 45 min. in length. Does your dancer want to move in a high energy environment? Then hip hop is the class for you. They will learn break dancing skills as well as music video style hip hop with one exception...all of our movement is clean and appropriate for all ages. We also offer an ALL BOYS HIP HOP CLASS starting fall 2012.
Leaps and Turns
class will focus on greater understanding and technique to do the leaps, turns
and tricks of jazz and contemporary dance styles. This is a non-recital class.
Tumbling classes are taught by a gymnastics coach and focuses on floor tumbling and
acrobatic dance skills.
Musical Theater is the art of singing, acting and dancing. Classes will include instruction in voice and
musical theater dance technique to Broadway music.

These groups represent the studio at outreaches, performances, dance conventions and competitions. The student must have at least one year of ballet and a jazz/contemporary class to be considered for the program.
